A Weekend In The Woods

As a web developer spending a lot of time 'plugged in' sat in front of a computer, sometimes it's good to unwind and 'unplug'.

I recently had a splendid time doing so, my friend Mike https://urbancoppice.co.uk/ was running a course as part of Weekend In The Woods.

Had a great time, staying in a tent in the woods, ate some great food made be Mike's partner Lynne, including some tasty soup, homemade bread and pizza. Mike is a fantastic teacher and by the end of the weekend everyone had made a cleft gate hurdle.

I found it very refreshing and rewarding to get hands on and practical, would definitely recommend it and will be aiming to go again if it's on next year.
