It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce that the one and only dirty stinking ape himself Andrew Clarke is coming to Manchester for the tenth McrFRED.
The event will take place on Thursday 30th January, 6.30pm.
At the usual TechHub Manchester.
Andrew Clarke is a designer, author and speaker. It was his work 'back in the day' that helped me learn the fundamental principles of the web, with awesome posts such as tackling CSS specificity with Star Wars https://www.stuffandnonsense.co.uk/archives/css_specificity_wars.html.
Andrew's talk "Take your stinking paws off my design you damn dirty developers" will be taking into account typography, grid design and teaching developers essential design techniques.
If you're interested in development, design or beards, you should be at this meetup.
Tickets are limited to 40 and will go quick, so please sign up early to avoid disappointment.
As expected the tickets didn't last very long. In case you didn't manage to get one, I've set up a reserve list https://mcrfred-10-reserve.eventbrite.co.uk.
If you do have a ticket for the event and aren't able to make it, please let me know asap so I can allocate the ticket to someone else.
Thanks, look forward to seeing you then.
