McrFRED 42 What Comes Next Is The Future Screening
I'm super happy to announce for the next McrFRED we'll be screening the exciting new documentary "What Comes Next Is the Future"!
Simon is this incredibly rare combination of insightful and curious developer, broad and extensive knowledge of front-end development techniques, and a real motivation to me in his ability to inject energy into a community. Simon would be a huge asset to any team and I'm a bit jealous of the one lucky enough to scoop him up.

Thanks to everyone that came to the first 'Together with Google Developers' and and the positive feedback, it was a lot more work than I originally anticipated so thanks everyone for bearing with me and the positive feedback. I'm happy to announce that for the next McrFRED Melissa Wood has kindly volunteered to help me out, as I'll be the speaker!
In case you didn't see, McrFRED is now part of 'Together with Google Developers' and I'm happy to announce that McrFRED 40 will be our first Google event.
Thanks to everyone that came to @upfrontconf last month and the great feedback on Twitter. Now back to @Mcr_FRED where this month we'll be learning about CSS Processors, a topic that a few regular McrFREDers have requested recently :)
As UpfrontConf draws near, we thought it would be nice to have a social event the day before so people can get to know one another.
Thanks last month to Branny for his great talk on Working with Legacy Projects, this month we have Barney Scott, also from Code Computerlove, who is going to help us all deal with our gulp addictions.
Last year I volunteered at Smashing Conf and I was honoured to be asked back. It's great to be able to give something back to the community and also help learn about 'back stage' issues that occur that many of the attendees will have no idea about.
Thanks for those of you who replied to the McrFRED suggestions form for 2016. A common request was to invite someone in from a local Manchester agency to talk through a project or similar.
I'm glad to announce Andrew Brandwood aka 'Branny', has stepped for us :)
For McrFRED 35 we're having another round of Lightning Talks :)
I'm happy to announce McrFRED is now Together With Google Developers :)
